Fostering is a very rewarding way to give back to the animals in your community. Not only do the animals appreciate the time, space, and love you give them while they are searching for their permanent family, but fostering gives you the opportunity to save a life. At the Animal Shelter of Sullivan County, we always need kind people to open their hearts and homes to a needy cat or dog, or maybe even a litter! If you can give an animal a temporary home, we will provide everything needed, including guidance while the animal is waiting for their new family.
