Meet Nancy, the tortoiseshell queen of sass with a *big* personality and an even bigger attitude. She’s bi-polar, but not in the fun, quirky way—more like in the “one minute she’s giving you head-butts of love, and the next she’s dramatically flipping her tail and pretending you don’t exist” way.
Nancy LOVES attention… when *she* wants it. One minute, she’s purring like a motorboat and demanding belly rubs (but don't get too comfy—if you’re not quick enough, you’ll get a gentle reminder in the form of a swat). The next, she’s scowling at you from across the room as if you’ve personally offended her by, well, existing. She believes every chair, couch, and piece of furniture is her throne, and you’ll just have to deal with that. She’ll act like you’re not worthy of sharing her space, but if she’s in the right mood, she’ll climb into your lap and make you question why you ever doubted her.
Nancy’s idea of affection is 50% love, 50% “you’re here to serve me, peasant.” She’ll give you just enough snuggles to make you fall in love, but don’t be surprised if she suddenly ignores you for an hour because she’s busy plotting her next move.
Nancy will keep you on your toes—confused, entertained, and occasionally wondering if she’s secretly plotting world domination. If you’re up for the challenge of living with a lovable little butthead who’ll make you laugh, roll your eyes, and feel incredibly lucky to be her human, Nancy’s your gal.
Ready for a rollercoaster of affection, sass, and unpredictable moments? Nancy’s waiting for you.
A couple of our adoptable dogs will make an appearance! We will have goodies to hand out- popsicles, temporary tattoos, stickers, crayons with coloring books (while supplies last).
We will also have a table where you can find out all about our wonderful programs. Our T-shirts and other merchandise will be for sale.
There will be a sign up sheet to tour the shelter every 30 minutes from 12 to 2:30 pm. The shelter will be providing 3 inflatables- 2 bouncy houses and 1 obstacle course inflatable with prizes.
There will be food trucks and many vendor booths for you to check out.
The Easter Bunny will also be there! Bring your dogs and kids to get their picture taken! ... See MoreSee Less
