Happy National Volunteer Week! The Animal Shelter of Sullivan County has the best group of volunteers and fosters. To say giving of oneself is an understatement for this phenomenal group of people! Our volunteers and fosters work tirelessly day in and day out for our animals and shelter. This group can be called on at a momentβs notice and be there for whatever the need is. The dedication and enthusiasm of this group is incredible. Volunteers are an invaluable part of our team. Whether you can take pictures, walk a dog, cuddle a kitten, foster a dog or cat, take dogs to the park, help with events, pick up donations, transport animals, there is a spot for everyone! Our team is an example of a great team of volunteers and fosters and we want them all to know how they are appreciated, this week and every week! This IS the best place to volunteer or provide ANY community service and help our four legged companions at the same time.
My cat is the mama of whiskey and Tennessee and I was able to foster them until they were ready to go. Both are absolutely precious and sweet and love to play but they also love to snuggle as well. I made sure to have them associated with people, kids, and pups. They both deserve an amazing home. π«Άπ»π
