My daughter said somebody has little puppies in a crate in front of hobby lobby again selling them out here in this weather. I do not remember what happened the last time, but I don't think this is legal or moral. I'm just letting you know because I don't know who else to let know

Bless It! That baby needs care and love! I would take this baby and spoil it.
Its very skinny. Hip bones are sticking out 😭..... however, what kind of dog was it that ran off when the car it was in wrecked on the interstate a couple months ago....?
Praying this poor dog does not go back to its owners because they clearly can't take care of it. This is so sad to see. Praying it gets care and a loving home.

He looks identical to my Fernie boy. I bet he/she is from the same litter. His litter was separated between 2 shelters December 2024 (I want to say they said he was a part of a litter of 14). We got him from Washington County. Are you able to reach out to the shelter if that is where the microchip was done at to get more information?
Hope he gets to go home and pray it’s a good home!
A very sweet dog that I took for a walk yesterday at the shelter
Meet Max! 🐾 Max is a 3-year-old, 55-lb teddy bear who is full of love and charm. He absolutely adores attention and will happily soak up all the pets you’re willing to give. Toys are one of his favorite things, and he shines in play group—Max is dog-friendly and loves romping around with his canine friends!
Max has been patiently waiting at the shelter for 37 days, and while his family made the tough decision not to keep him anymore, Max hasn’t let that dampen his sweet spirit. He’s still hopeful and ready to find a forever home where he can finally settle in and feel loved.
If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate, and loyal companion, Max is ready to make your house a home. 🏡 Come meet sweet Max—you just might fall in love! 💕 ... See MoreSee Less
She’s an amazing sweet girl. She loved everyone including kids. She loves to lick your face and did great in the car. She’s a big love bug!! She was adopted and returned because of cats so she needs a no kitty home.
Praying this precious baby gets a forever home!!!🫶🏻❤️🙏🏻
As we look back on 2025, we are absolutely blown away by what our community helped us accomplish. These numbers represent real lives saved, second chances given, and a future made brighter for so many animals.
None of this would be possible without YOU — our supporters, adopters, fosters, volunteers, donors, rescue partners, staff, and veterinarians. Your compassion, time, and generosity make the impossible possible every single day.
Each year, we strive to do bigger and better things, and 2025 proved just how powerful a community can be when it comes together for animals in need. This is truly amazing, and we are so grateful to everyone who played a part in these successes.
🐶🐱 Thank you for saving lives with us. Thank you for believing in our mission. Thank you for being here.

WOW! We are almost there! We have 5 beds donated, and enough funds for 2 almost 3 beds! Our GOAL is 10! Thank you so much for your support!GUESS WHAT?! WE DID IT! 🥳 thank you to our wonderful community for stepping up! We couldnt do it without you!
AS OF 1/9: We need one more bed! Yay! We are almost there! 🥳
UPDATE:: We have had 5 beds donated and funds to purchase another in 24 hours!! WOW thank you to our wonderful community!
🛏️ Community Support Needed! 🛏️
Every dog in our care deserves a comfortable place to rest. 🐾
Doggie beds aren’t just a “nice extra”—they help our dogs feel safe, reduce stress, protect their joints, and give them a sense of comfort while they wait for their forever homes.
We are incredibly grateful for the Kuranda ShelterBeds program and the Kuranda beds we already have in our kennels. These beds have made a huge difference for our dogs by keeping them off the cold floor and providing durable, easy-to-clean comfort.
Right now, we are just a few beds short of being able to give every dog their own Kuranda bed. If you’re able to help donate or support this program, it would mean so much to us—and even more to the dogs who rely on us every day.
Cant purchase a full bed? Thats okay, together we can purchase them!
Thank you for supporting our shelter and helping us make our kennels a more comfortable place. ❤️
⭐️Larry one of our residents loves his Kuranda Bed!🥳
Foster homes are truly the backbone of rescue work, and we are looking to grow our foster program. Without foster homes, many dogs wouldn’t have the opportunity to leave the shelter or move into rescue.
When a dog goes into a foster home, it frees up kennel space so we can help more animals — but just as importantly, it allows that dog to decompress and learn what it’s like to live in a home. This helps us and our rescue partners see how they do in a real-life setting, making it easier to place them with a rescue or match them with the right forever family.
Our foster homes play a vital role in helping dogs settle in, build confidence, and show their true personalities. That information is incredibly valuable to rescues and adopters alike and often makes the difference in saving a life.
As a foster, you get to: ❤️ Provide a safe, loving environment 🐶 Help a dog adjust to home life 📸 Share insights that help rescues and adopters say “yes” ✨ Be a direct part of a dog’s rescue journey
