Over the past two days, we’ve taken in 15 dogs from a home in Kingsport. Our Animal Control Officers have been to this residence before, and we’ve helped dogs from the same home in the past.
This time, the dogs were in much worse condition than we had seen previously. It’s clear they have been struggling over the past several months, and right now, our biggest concern is getting them the care they need and helping them get back on their feet.
We are incredibly thankful to the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Department for working alongside us to safely get these dogs out and into our care. We’re all working together to give these babies a chance to heal and hopefully find better days ahead.
With 15 dogs coming in at once, the medical and nutritional needs add up quickly. They will need veterinary care, medications, good food, and plenty of TLC. At this time these dogs are not available for adoption.

I received Lucy at pets mart a few months ago and I most say she is so full of love and so spoiled and very vocal now we love her she now has her own play room. She was at Sullivan county twice she has definitely found her forever home now
