We just wrapped up an amazing three days with Dogs Playing for Life, and the positive changes are already happening! Our instructors, Maxx and Caley, gave our team the confidence and skills to safely run dog playgroups — and our pups absolutely loved it. Seeing the dogs calm, relaxed, and happy afterward was truly heartwarming. 🥰
Now we’re excited to bring this program into our daily routine, and we want YOU to be part of it!

🐾 BIG WEEK at the Animal Shelter of Sullivan County! 🐾 We are thrilled to share that Dogs Playing for Life will be at our shelter this Wednesday through Friday bringing their nationally recognized playgroup and enrichment training to our team! 🎉💙
📢 Please note: We will be CLOSED on Wednesday so that all staff can participate in this important hands-on training. Thank you for understanding as we invest in tools that will help our dogs thrive!
This incredible program teaches shelters how to safely run dog playgroups, reduce kennel stress, and bring out the very best in every pup. Our staff, volunteers, and dog walkers are getting hands-on experience that will help our dogs shine brighter than ever!
We’re also excited to welcome surrounding shelters who have been invited to join us, observe the training, and take these lifesaving skills back to their own organizations. Collaboration helps us all save more lives! 🐶🤝🐶
